If you breed him, he'll do a lot more than just hump the cat. Breeders really make sacrifices for the breed, their dogs aren't pets they are working dogs, and will have a whole set of problems that pet owners don't face. Also, we do have a serious pet problem in this country and thousands of dogs are put to death each year because there aren’t enough homes. The only dogs that should be bred are those who have passed a series of tests, health and confirmation tests. Also, breeding is no easy thing, just because your dog is an excellent example of the breed, you need to be able to predict how his offspring will look when mated with some female, and this of course means, knowing how to read pedigrees.
