Those of you who live in cold areas, how does your dog handle going potty outside in the cold? Do you put a coat on him/her and do a quick trip outside in your yard? Do you walk your yorkie at all in the winter?

When it snows my DH takes the shovel and makes a path and potty area for my girls. I do put coats on them and it is just a quick trip in the yard. I don't do any long outside walks during that time. Instead we find other ways to have exercise.
