Jackson's had a few tummy issues a few weeks ago which turned out to be pancreatitis and I did not see any blood in his stool until took him to the vet and it came out on the thermometer! I was so scared. It's such a scary thing when they are sick and you are not exactly sure what's wrong. If you think the lack of activity is strange, I wouldn't just leave it alone. Regardless of age, if he was pretty active even a few months ago, I think it might concern me and not be something necessarily about age (of course it COULD be).
