 Bentley's Issue
So, I noticed his anus was extremely swollen. I tried to empty his glands as but him being so tiny I didn't want to try too hard especially since I have nails. I took him to the vet yesterday and he took him to the back room and supposedly he's all set. I had read online that if your not able to squeeze the fluids out than it can be an infection and in some scenarios even have to surgically remove the anal glands! My lil guy is only 2 lbs! I noticed last night that the area is still extremely swollen. I've been putting hydrocordisone cream on the area. Any suggestions? I really hope its not as bad as I've read it could be! I was thinking maybe some lactolose? But my vet said it'll give him diarrahea. He's very active still and doesnt seem in any pain unless we touch the area. |
