 Potty Training Question
My Hershey is 6 years old and potty trained. He knows to stand by the door when he needs to go potty. He never has accidents in the house when we are not home--he waits and goes outside. The problem is at night. We let him out before we go to sleep and then he sleeps with my husband and I in our bedroom. Our bedroom has carpeting and he seems to be urinating in the room out of spite. He jumps off the bed and urinates either in our room on the carpeting or in the hallway on the carpeting. We always let him out when he needs to go and he usually tells us except when he is on carpeting. We don't want to ban him from coming upstairs but I also don't want my carpets ruined. Do you have any advice how I can stop this? |
