My favorite things in the kitchen were my roommates large toaster oven, and her slow cooker.
The toaster oven was amazing. You could put a full plate of nachos in there to melt the cheese to perfection! I loved baked foods more than I like cooking on the stove. I hate heating up the oven to make something for 2 people. The heat from the oven is enough to heat up the whole apt! Not with my old roomies toaster oven.
Her slow cooker was awesome! Home made fresh chili. I dream of the day that I can make my own chili at home. So many other recipes I want to try too. I wasn't hungry before, but I sure am now. Would love some of your mashed potatoes. They are so good!!!
Secret ingredient.... I don't have one. I'm not a very good cook. I'm a decent baker, especially sweets. According to the boys, I make the best oatmeal cookies. They're more like oatmeal mini cakes. Light and fluffy. Too bad I hate oatmeal.
