Angel was a "toy dog" in EVERY way from puppy hood to 11 years old! LOL!
She loved little balls the best! But she also loved her miniture stuffed animals, and knew them all by name. We would say "go get Bear-Bear" or "get Piggy" and she would go to her toy corner and get whichever one we were asking for!
Jasper, on the other hand, only liked rawhide chews. He would not play with any toys like Angel would, though sometimes he would try to take one away from her just to get a rise out of her. It was one of their favorite games together, and sometimes Angel would start the game by poking Jasper in the face with her toy. Too funny!
I think it really depends on the personality of the pup. Some are more playful than others. Hey, humans are like that, TOO!
