I personally think you have to find what works with your little one. I consulted with my vet and she just put Taycie on a Royal Canin RX diet. I too, got to my wits end about her food and I just want her to be comfortable and healthy.

If she was mine, I would be consulting with my vet to rule out any other health conditions. I would also check some of these recent threads out, they offer some really great advice regarding food. They also opened my mind up..

I feel like I am missing a thread with more info... hmmm.. can't find it...

I used to be all for the healthy holistic dog food, and if you look back at some of my previous posts... I was.. but after brand after brand, there was always an issue rather it be GI or itchiness..

I am not saying one is better then the other, I know many that do fantastic on many holistic brands, it just doesn't work for us. I just got to the point where her quality of life is more important and if she needs and RX diet. So be it.

Every dog is different and every dog thrives on something different. I say find what works and stick with it!
