I am SO glad to see all these "big" guys! They are adorable!!!
YT was the first place I ever saw 'non-standard' other than our Ozzie. (That's him in my avatar.)
He weighed 3.3 pounds when we brought him home at 11 weeks... and grew steadily from there! (I was convinced we were going to have the world's first 40-pound Yorkie.
) He actually topped out at just over 16 pounds a year or so ago. I think his last weigh-in, shortly after he turned 14 in June, was 15.8 pounds.
We had been scaling his diet back a bit before we found out he has lymphoma. Now we just focus on keeping him eating and medicated! He is doing well so far, considering it's Stage 4. We'll get another check-in later this month.
I've always told him that he is TWO standard Yorkies because to me, he IS twice the standard!
