I know exactly how you feel. I just had Abby shaved for the same reason. The groomer told me I was using the wrong brush and that I needed a medal comb and if it didn't go thru then to use a soft slicker until mat was gone. However once you bathe them with a mat it will lock.
On the bright side Abby is very short now but her hair feels beautiful. No more cottony puppy coat. It will grow again and you will get used to it. Wait till you see how easy it is to care for your pup now. I am sorry I didn't get Riley shaved as well. lol |
