I just took my little 5 month old girl to the groomers and they told me that they are going to have to shave her!! I brush her and bath her myself and this is the second time to the groomers. I took her last month and they mentioned that her harness, was causing some matting and not to leave it on her for long periods of time. So, I immediately changed to another harness, and only put it on for walks. But, this groomer said that her entire coat is matted. To look at her, she looks beautiful, but it is matted at her skin. I brushed her this morning, but my brush is not going all the way down to her skin! I feel so terrible. I know that it will grow back, but she will look just awful.
