Hi, We have acquired a lovely Yorkie, his name is Bart and he is from a rescue centre! We have only had him 2 days and he is so good! The centre reckons he is around 6-7 years old, and all they know was that he was abandoned and has bad teeth. He does smell of the kennels badly, and his breathe does too, he hasn't got a bark, he has more of a grunt when he gets excited haha, he is a lively little fellow, and responds well to certain commands, i.e sit, stay etc. He is housetrained too which was a bonus! We took him on, not knowing anything really about him. We do have a rescue cat too, she is called Lisa, 12 years old now, and absolutely hates Bart, I'm not sure at the moment whether Bart wants to play with her, or chase to harm her, but I'm hoping some training will stop him. (btw, the cat is bigger than the dog!).
Anyway, that's a quick introduction to our new addition.
