I said overpopulation aside. And if you really think about it. I'm sure that puppies from breeders on here have had at least one of their puppys given up for adoption.
And some people don't want a "used (as I've seen it put before) dog." Granted, they're a hell of a lot cheaper from a shelter or the pound, but a lot of those dogs have problems with children, other animals, or have a severe health problem. And yes, I know, if you don't have hundreds of dollars to put aside for vet bills on the dog you already spent hundreds of dollars on to get, then why are you going to get a dog. Thus half the benefit from getting a puppy.
Don't get me wrong, I understand where everyone is coming from on here, but if it wasn't for the overpopulation, no one would have a problem with it. If you're really that worried about the overpopulation, why don't you do something about it, and start by not breeding your own animal. That would help too.
