Default update

Update on my little guy. He stayed with the vet all day yesterday. They said his behavior seemed fine. No more throwing up, no more diarrhea. The vet said he did a test and there were no signs of giardia. So either the vet is wrong or the ER was wrong. Does anyone have any experience with this condition?

I have been home with him most of the day today. He is usually VERY playful. Has played very little today. Maybe for 5 or 10 minutes for the entire day. He is eatting and drinking. Just not very active. Sleeping alot. The vet reminded me yesterday that he is almost 11 and not a "spring chicken" any more. I guess I should expect to see him start to slow down a little bit because of age???

He will go on very short walks and then wants to go back home. Like I said, no vomiting and no diarrhea...but, on the other hand he has not pooped very much. I am not feeding him as much as I usualy do so I guess that is normal???

I am so scared that I am going to lose him. He is so precious to me. Not having any family or my husband any more makes him a very important part of my world.

If anyone knows anything abot giardia please let me know. I don't think it is the pancreas because he is not throwing up or having diarrhea. They are treating him with anitbiotic.., so would that take care of the giardia and pancreas? The Vet seems to think he will be okay, just need to continue the meds. The only thing that is really scaring me is the lack of activity.

Forgive me, I know I have rambled. Just wish I had someone to talk to about this.
Thanks for listening
