I honestly have never left the dogs in the car even for a minute. Even if the temperature was comfortable there are still too many risks. Someone could steal the dogs, they could injest something and so on. Not to mention that being trapped in a car would be quite stressful for them. My rule is - if I can't take the dogs with me when I am out of the car I leave them at home where they are safe
