If it's continuing to bleed when you move it around, then it's probably safest to have the wound checked. It sounds like you are continuing to open it and it might not be able to heal properly. Butterfly bandages are good for keeping wound edges together, more for cosmetic reasons (reduced scarring) than to stop bleeding. You might be able to avoid stitches and have the liquid sutures (kind of like superglue) instead, depending on the location and depth.
