I am not sure what your doctor's reasoning is about this decision. The only thing I can think of is maybe they do their surgeries later in the day and they don't think the dog will be recovered enough to pick up by closing time.
I would discuss it with the office and see if they will allow you to get your dog before closing time. If they are doing surgery in the evening your dog will likely sleep all night though I don't like the idea of no one being there. |
