BUT...I need to say just one thing here. You took a small snippet of someone's post and made them sound like they were simply wishing destruction of someone's beloved pet. Her post was very compassionate and did mention that her daughter has pit bulls and that they are wonderful pups. I realize what you were trying to say, but I do think you overreacted to one little sentence.
I am one who firmly believes that AC needs to be involved here. What better way to assure that this will not happen again? If not managed properly, this dog will attack another dog again, or perhaps a child or any person. As another poster said, if it is necessary to euthanize to keep everyone/thing safe, then so be it. I hate to see any animal euthanized...but the sad fact is that in some cases it is necessary. This entire thread was full of people with good wishes to Deeogi and his family....and the theme was not about destroying the pit bull. In most cases where the pit was mentioned it was with the word control being used....the dog needs to be controlled. Period!

I want to say I agree but will add it don't matter if its a pit and person or a purple pony if its mean and cant be safe it needs to go where it cant hurt anyone or anything again that means humanly put down, divorce for a human or jail, and a funny farm for them naughty purple pony people come on don't make this debate of statements let's all get along like we would hope all our animals will too point is the people that owned the dog that hurt the poor little puppy should be ashamed its their responsibility to train and keep their dog safe as well as other people and other animals ....back to the issue at hand how is your yorkie doing and how's the family ? God bless and wish everyone the nest even the family that wast responsible for their dogs at that sad moment cause I would hope and believe that family would Feel bad and hope they learn from this and do the right thing with that dog and for the poor yorkie and family be a better neighbour hugs to everyone
