Your poor baby. I would not go back to the groomer. This is unacceptable. As you probably know, Yorkies are prone to collapsed trachea. Nothing should ever place pressure on your dog's neck, certainly not enough to bruise your dog. No dog should have bruises.

Have you ever considered grooming at home yourself? It is a challenge, especially for shorter cuts that require a little more skill than full coats, but it is very rewarding. After the initial investment in equipment, it is a great way to save money too.
