Oh, of course I will be praying. It could just be inflammation from smoking and nothing more but hopefully, the scare will stay and spur him into quitting! If men would just talk out their frustrations or fears to us rather than smoke, they would be so much healthier in every way! I pray he has a completely excellent x-ray and a doctor that will gently guide him into quitting.

I smoked(not a lot toward the end) for 10 years and stopped 11-19-88. Cold turkey. Bought a treadmill and every time I wanted to smoke, I got on that thing and walked until I no longer card ANYTHING about a cigarette and only want to breathe! Breathing well became my big quest in life as I continued to walk, walk, walk and my body demanded more efficient delivery of oxygen. In 3 weeks time, my desire for anything to smoke was totally gone and except for 1/2 cigarette the next March when our clinic CPA quit and I had to take over her job, haven't had one since. And I prayed and prayed that God would completely deliver me from the habit and that is when I got the idea for the treadmill. That did it!!! He answered my prayer and I got skinny. God bless you and your DH. I pray his lungs are fine.
