Omg Stick stuck in his bottom.. Poor baby

Christmas day I took Harley to my grandmas house to visit with us. When we pulled in Will said that Harley smelled bad.. like poop. So I checked him and his area looked fine and I had no real push to sniff too closely so he passed that test too.. lol Well about 3 or 4 hours later on our way out the door I noticed that he was walking kinda funny and wouldn't hop into the car by himself like he always does (he's such a show off ) So I investigated and saw that he had what looked like a, for lack of better words, dingle berry.. So I grabbed a tissue and tried to brush it off.. And he jerked away crying! This had never happened before so it really scared me. I went ahead and tried to pick it/pull it off but he was in agony screaming! I finally got a hold on it and tugged and oh my lordy.. a stick popped out! This sucker was 2 1/2 inches long and was totally stiff and had obviously never been bent at all.. As soon as it was out Will said, "I told you he smelled bad.".. I'm so glad he was so sympathetic to Harley.. NOT.. Geesh.. But the second it came out poor little Harley dropped into his car seat, closed his eyes and slept the whole way home without so much as a peep. He must have just been so darn glad to be rid of the thing. Will said he must have sat on it and had it shoved up there but I know that's impossible since the whole chunk coming out of his bottom was covered in poop. Meaning it had all been pushed out (or atleast tried to be pushed out) by a bowel movement. I just seriously have no clue how that thing made it through him like that. Say if he were a doberman or a chow chow I could see how a 2 1/2 inch stick could make it's way into and out off their system but a 9lb yorkie? How did this happen? He is such a weirdo for eating such things! But I still love him! He hasn't shown any ill signs of the experience but I worry that one day another one might not pass..
