I just switched my 3 dogs to SD Ideal Balance. (Well, Belle is still mostly on canned I/D for a few more days, recovering from a tummy issue after her spay) My 80 lb Ziggy loves it, my 12 lb Shih Tzu, Oliver loves it (he can be VERY picky) and I've given Belle some as training treats and she loves it, too. The kibble size is fine for all of them and they are eating it right up which makes me very happy. I had been a Hill's SD fan for a long time and I stopped feeding it when the holistic dogfood trend started. I fed Solid Gold for a while, and then Blue Buffalo for a few years, then Natural Balance for a bit. I did try Iams Healthy Naturals for about a month most recently and they didn't really like it. But, I think that I'm going to stick with SD from now on - I'm so glad I found this thread
