I say no need to worry, but we have all worried and I say it makes you a great Yorkie Mommy! When I had my last Yorkie fixed, they got her in and out of surgery earlier than they expected due to a cancellation. When the vet called me to say she was done and ready to be picked up - well, I freaked out for a minute because I thought they were calling to say something went wrong! She was fine and dandy and very snuggly when she came home.
Your baby will be fine - although maybe you should ask for something - LOL.
I will be in your shoes in a few weeks with my little guy Max and then six weeks later with my little Abby. Please be sure to let us know how the procedure goes. My vet does not do the laser surgery, but it sounds so much better and less painful.
