 Coat Colors
Most of the yorkies I see that are a year old have a lot of silver in their coat and have the gold head. Brutus still has a black back with a little silver at the roots and a mixture of silver black and gold on his head. Do you think his coat will continue to change?
His breeder was even a little surprised when she saw pictures of him that he was the color he was at this age. I believe his sister who will be bred has already changed and his mother is very silver and gold and so are most of the yorkies on his pedigree that I looked up.
I love his coloring now but was just wondering how old they are when it stops changing. Thanks! |
