Yes, the ingredients are good; but I have decided just recently to change. I really thought I was doing well until the topic came up here recently regarding the AAFCO statements on dog food.
I spoke with my vet and consulted with a vet nutritionist and honestly feel safer using Hill's Science Nature's Best because they do feed trials. I remember the awful recalls a few years back and just feel safer with a company that spends the money to thoroughly test their products. I don't want to wake up one day and find a bunch of sick dogs...... I may never have had problems with C&P but the risk was too great to continue feeding it. It also bothered me that they did not respond to my email requesting information about their company. Again, does not make them bad....just that I feel safer with Hill's.
