A proper diet and good hair products probably will improve her coat. Could take up to a couple of months to see significant improvement.
There are loads of good hair products to choose from. I use Biogroom shampoo and Silk Creme Rinse on Teddy, and Vellus on Max.
Chris Christensen Day to Day makes the coat very nice too.
