If I had one word to describe Max it would be "happy". His tail is always wagging. But it's not just his tail. His whole tush wiggles back and forth all day long. He's happy from the minute he wakes up until the time he goes to bed. He loves his family, gives kisses all day long and adores cuddling. I think he would prefer to stay home more than anything and just spend time with his loved ones.
Max came home to us at 10 weeks old and at 11 weeks he was diagnosed with epilepsy. His meds are keeping him healthy today and that experience as bonded us tremendously. His first few weeks at home he slept on my chest all the time. And even though he grew to be a big boy, that never changed! He thinks he's a tiny lap dog.
Max is very playful and although he loves being with us he's also quite independent. He'll play in the living room by himself with anything squeaky. But he always needs to be checked on constantly. It's not unusual to see him pretending he's a Yorkie statue, sitting in very high places like end tables, the kitchen table and even the top of his crate!

When he's not on top of his crate he's on his back anywhere and everywhere, even while he's being groomed
max belly brush.jpgHe's always getting into trouble. I think he does it purposely because when I approach him he wiggles so joyously, uncontrollably. Max is my happy dog and a lovely pet and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to take care of him.
