I took the dogs out for a walk yeterday, Calvin was running around fine. I brought them in the house and Calvin jumped on the couch and was holding his front leg and licking his paw. We looked at his foot and he never acted like he was in pain.I thought he had stepped on a ant or insect. I gave him some Benadryl. He rested all day but would limp some when he walked. This morning when he got up he started holding his foot up again and limping more. I took him too the vet this morning and he examined it, could not find any place on the bottom of his foot, but when he touched his paw his back leg would quiver but he would not cry. He took him and checked him more and told me he had a sprained foot. He gave him a shot of Metacam and a prescription. We are home now, the other dogs were happy to see him, he is resting now and just wants to sleep. Just need to watch him for a few days until he feels better. He is going to snuggle with his daddy in the recliner.
