I'm so grateful the have YT family. Words of incouragment is just what you need, when you get such bad news about your baby. Nestle is not the puppy that was blind in one eye. He is my two year old boy that I brought from a breeder in Zanesville Ohio. I was told by the Doctor that this is not something that is passed down from parents. The prognois: SARDS or sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Sydrome based on the ERG performed, cause and condition unknown. There is no medical treatment for SARDS and unfortunately remain permanently blind in both eyes. The only good news is that his eye will not change colors, they are very bright and clear. Please keep praying for us! It seems like the end of the world for me right now, but I know that God is in control of all things.
