Came to my sister's house. We wanted Rylee and her dog to be friends. May have introduced them wrong, but I didn't think to do it outside bc they are both such friendly pups who love other dogs..
Started to fight at first sniff. Don't know which one started it. Broke them up. Then everytime Rylee saw her he would bark his brains out. They went on a walk together and did fine. Back here and he is growling and barking at her again and she is obviously not liking him either. They got chews to try and help calm them down and... He was growling when she came near. She bit and he screamed. She then tried to chase him down when he was walking away hurt. She hates his guts. She still lounges at him when one of her owners pet him. But they went on another walk and were fine. It's inside the house that's the problem.. But they are separated now for his safety and to shut him up.
I'd like to know who started the first fight, but it all happened so fast. I wonder if she got upset bc he probably barked at her (he greets that way). Now he barks and growls from a distance and she tries to get closer and her intentions seem questionable at best! He is snuggled in his crate now in an effort to save his other ear from being eaten. |
Oh, so you are not at home right now? That's even worse to deal with this stuff when you are away.
I am sorry -- sometimes I hate when dogs act like... dogs! lol.
My dads dog is a long haired Dachshund mix and a total sweetheart. Jackson and him get along great and always have been good little buddies. But one day, they both jumped off the couch at the same time going for the same bully stick and omg it was the loudest fight/brawl ever, I thought they were killing each other. Me and my stepmom separated them and Jackson did end up having a little cut on his ear, but 5 minutes later they were fine and playing together again. I hope the two dogs can work it out in the future.
