Default Traditional Chinese Medicine

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this site and just had a chance to figure out how to post. Nice to meet you all

Two years ago, Chester (my 8 year old yorkie) was due for a dental and our vet had suggested taking some bloodwork. His ALT was sky high at 620 but all other values were normal. My vet suggested a product named Denamarin & Denosyl and we retested Chester's blood 6 weeks later. It came down a bit but was still sitting in the 400's.

I have been feeding him a diet that I found called dr. dodd's liver diet as I have heard good things about it. In the last year, Chester's ALT numbers have come down a tad but are still high. I should add that we also did a bile acid blood test that came back normal.

I was reading someone's blog regarding traditional chinese medicine and liver issues for canines and it sounded quite interesting (yet so very complex). I was wondering if anyone here has had success with traditional chinese medicine and liver issues?
