Clean it well - soap - water - peroxide - etc. Let it dry and put Neosporin on it. Watch it closely - if there is any sign of infection, take your puppy to the vet.

It will probably turn out just fine. My dogs have had their fair share of injuries and none have ever become infected - yet - knock on wood!
