I am so sorry that you have been given such devastating news. Did the doctors give you a name for what has happened? A week ago I found out my 14 yr. old Rosie is not only going blind but is also going deaf. She is diagnosed with PRA...Retinal Degeneration. There is nothing they can do about it. They did assure me, though, that she would adjust. One of the vet students actually has a dog that is both deaf and blind. She was able to say, from experience, that a dog does adjust by using other senses. ~Joanne~
