I really value your advice, so let me just thank you up front for responding to my posts as this forum is essentially my "mentor" as there are not any close by. When you say he shouldn't be bullied, how do I prevent this now? I have raised the two together and she has been the boss from day one. I thought when one was the alpha dog there wasn't really anything you could do to change that. They are actually very loving and affectionate with each other and they are driving me crazy because I have one in a seperate room so they keep crying for each other but I am determined to do what I can to get this to work. I have several people interested in using Dash, but only one has a bitch that has had a litter. She had her litter in June of last year and has not had a heat cycle yet. She was going to wait out one cycle before breeding her again, but with this many months in between would it be a bad idea to breed her again? I would like to see if an experienced bitch would make a difference and I don't really know how else to find one. |
