I transitioned her over to TOTW (higher protein) - then gave her the canned beef that a well-meaning neighbor had given me . . and that's when we found out about her liver problems!
If I had left her alone and not tried to feed her the high protein . . . our downward chain of events might not have started.

Don't feel bad I did the same thing with my first yorkie Ichabob and I really believe I was the cause of him being a diabetic at such a young age, with all the high fat treats and good food.
