I got my Yorkie when he was 8 weeks old. He gets a bath every weekend.
He is 16 weeks old now and has never been to the groomer. I cut his hair myself. I am keeping it short for now. He's looking good!
If and when I decide to let his hair grow out longer - we'll go to the groomer, and I'll work with her for a while.
PS: My groomer did say she didn't even what to see him until he's had all his shots (which would be after this next Saturday).
