Do you know for a fact she was kicked into something or kicked there and this is a big swollen contusion that maybe is accumulating/holding water? Unless you yourself witnessed the kicks and what happened personally, you can't really know what happened. Or she could have done it to herself escapting and running under a piece of furntiure and bumping her back in her rush to get to safety. This could be a bruise/contusion and will resolve in time. I pray it is nothing more than that and time and some moist heat will take care of it.
