I often say Mylee is the most challenging dog I have ever had. She's had two surgeries for hip displasia, she's a runner, has trust issues, has separation anxiety, and she spins circles when she is nervous (the guy on animal planet calls that OCD but her fisherman daddy lovingly calls her spinner bait

). I am not complaining though, I believe we were meant to be. I think many other homes would have given up on her long ago due to her issues, but we work diligently on training, and she has come leaps and bounds and I am so very proud of her. She plays hard and she crashes hard. When she is awake, she is busy busy busy. At night, she starts out sleeping on the end of the bed, and by morning she has snuggled up close to me and that pretty much describes her personality. On the floor she is reluctant to come to you and give in to affection, but the moment you pick her up she is a limp noodle of affection and just molds to your body. She would be content to let you hold her all day long without fighting to get down. While some may call her a yapper, I understand every word she says and our conversations get pretty complicated, but mostly she just wants her daddy to quit hogging the sofa and accidentally on purpose drop a few more crumbs.
