Brit, I just want to let you know that I am thinking about you as well as Jackson and hope he continues to do well. I watched your videos on youtube and he is so full of life and you can tell he is well loved.
I am sorry to read about your brother, but I get how it makes you feel closer to him and gives you a bond greater than people could imagine. Sophie and I are the same way. In May of 2009 my grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer (is now in remission), my mom was diagnosed with a later stage of ovarian cancer and my grandma passed away unexpectedly...it was horrible.
I got Sophie that August and she has become my best friend, she keeps me smiling when I my mom tells me her numbers went up again...and she keeps my mom smiling when she is having a bad day.
It is definitely a special bond that you have with Jackson. (not saying other people don't have a special bond with their dog)
I sincerely hope that Jackson continues to improve and that you are able to figure out a diet for him that continues to keep him healthy. |
