Hi Kate! Welcome to the group. I've notice Amiee answered your questions and she did a good job at it. Just a few thing I would add to what she posted.


Some Yorkies do have problems with their legs and knees. One is called luxating patella which is like a trick knee.

It inherited or congential. It is more commonly seen in the small dog breed.

This is true for some, but not all. Housebreaking is hard, but with a lot of dedication and hard work it pays off in the end. A lot of members here are seasoned pros at this. I have a puppy at the moment and I will say she has been harder to train than any other dog I've ever had. This may be partly my fault though, for spoiling her too much (probably!)

Again, it is not limited to yorkies. It is a common problem seen in small dogs.
