Yes, too much hair on ears can weigh them down. You should trim the upper 1/3 (tip), to help stand up. Also other things can cause them to flop, including teething, then they can come up again.
My Tiki's ears were up until she came in heat & also was teething, one flopped down, and never totally came up again. I didn't shave or tape though, I love the way she looks naturally.... one up and one down. |
