It is high 90's and above , with a heat index of up to 109 in some places in Georgia. It is always humid here. Our county has decided to cancel all outdoor practice for schools between 12pm and 6 pm, for all activities. My son plays football and they practice in the mornings from 7:30-!2.00. In other areas of Georgia there were 2 high school football players die from heat exhaustion this week. We don't start back to school until August 15th. |
