You won't go wrong with the small. The large is REALLY big. It fits my two that are 3.5 lbs and 6 lbs. Even that, there's extra room. I will take up Ryan's suggestion and put a blankie in there. Unless you plan on getting another puppy, small will be ideal for you and Coco.
