My yorkie is 8 months old. He has all of his adult canine teeth. The bottom 2 baby teeth have been out for awhile. He has both baby and adult canine teeth on the top. My vet said he would give him until 9 months to lose them before he'd pull them. Today I was checking to see if he'd lost them and I noticed that his gums right above the canines on one side are turning brown. It's just right over the teeth. Is this because the baby tooth needs pulled? Infection? Should I be worried?
