I have been trying to be careful with the bones I buy for Celine. Some of the raw hide bones she has been able to choke on so it scares me off of them. For quite a while I have given her the Dingo Wag'n Wraps with the meat in the middle and they seem to work pretty well for her. I was in pet's mart the other day and thought let me try something else. So I picked up a couple of bags that were called chicken tops. It said rawhide with real chicken. It has this stuff on top that makes it look basted and then it kind of breaks off in little pieces. Now my dilemma, she is acting crazy! She is all hyper and she acts like it's (I don't know how to word it) primal. She guards it and she actually bit my daughter when she tried to take it away. Obviously she can't have them, but why do they react that way? She's awful and she whines by the cupboard I keep them in. Any input? I am confused.
