I went back at 9 weeks and picked the pup I thought I would like. then when I went at 12 weeks to pick him up I changed my mind and got a different pup that had a totally different personality from his brothers. Even though pups are from the same litter everything about them can be different even their coat types. so make sure to take all of that into mind when picking your pup. Also if you are curious about the females full grown size ask the breeder how much she weighed when she was born. Generally a 4 oz baby will make a dog that is a little over 4 lb when it is full grown. you will want your female to be atleast 4lb so don't get a pup that was less than 4oz when born.

thanks. My husband breeds beagles and he will go with me to check the overbite and things like that, that he knows about. I will check her for the things I have learned about here on YT. I probably could tell an overbite also. I have seen them in our beagles. We just had an experierence where we were heading out the door to the vet right before we were to ship a pup to New York. My husband decided to check them one more time/ He had missed the terrible overbite and also had missed a dew claw. It was an awful oversite on his part and a mistake he had never made before. Thankfully, we had another pup that pleased the buyer in its place. Our dogs are bred to be Field Champions and our line is well known in the world of Beagles. no way would we ever sell a flawed dog. Our reputation would be damaged beyond repair even if it were an honest oversite. He had checked Ceeby for an overbite while I was talking to the breeder and I had not even thought of it till we paid our deposit and headed home. i am glad he was with me that time.
