I know from my own tragedies that it is so hard not to blame yourself. Please try to let go of your guilt. You are NOT to blame for what has happened to Deeogi. The blame rests soley with the owner of the pitbull. It was her responsibility to understand her dog and she should have known that the animal presented a danger to others. I hope that she is feeling the weight of what has happened. She is the one that should be feeling guilty, not you.
It is so clear that you love your fur babies very much and that you are a very caring and responsible mom. Please do not blame yourself, what you need right now is to be treated kindly and that means by you as well.
