Well we went to RensPets Depot which is enroute to Lake Kelso. Always a dangerous proposition
Razzle got a new lifejacket, which he didn't get to try out today, but he loved his new water toy. Still I can't seem to find a high flotation water toy that is on the small size; this one he can just get his mouth around.
Zoey got a new water toy as well, more in hope there will be something that catches her attention and makes her want to go swimming. It didn't work

But Magic loved it

I'm hopeful that when we are at the cottage and all day on the dock she will relax enough to actually enjoy swimming. She does have a nice lifejacket that is high flotation which is very helpful with a dog learning to swim.
Magic got a new backpack as his other one was kaput. He will look quite handsome in it. Magic is our pack mule when we hike. He will carry most of our water for hiking, food that doesn't need cooling, the doggie treats and toys. We carry our cameras and tripods, and food that I need to keep cool. Plus of course our water bottles, and the emergency kit.
I got Razzle a cooling jacket that is supposed to be built in such a way to keep the dog cool on a hot day, and warm on a cool day. I'll try it out this week.
I did buy a whistle and a couple of training tags, too
So working through my list; still have to update the emergency kit, and I'm thinking about a two way radio system as cell phones don't work up there.
