Okay, I need help with a question. My dog recently had a litter of pups the pups have been gone about 2 weeks. I read on an "ask a vet" website that her next cycle will be the same as before (6-7 months). But today my husband noticed that she had gone pee on the porch, and around it about 4-5 times (like she was marking). I also noticed some pinkish, reddish discharge. My husband said she would come back into heat right away after the pups, but, surely he's not right?
