You must have been scared to death!
We have them here too. I never leave my girls outside alone and if I spot one hanging around I stay right by them. However, you never know what they will do! I wonder if load noises would scare it? I am just not sure about them.
BTW, yes I think it is very possible it was the one who took the bunny!
